One alien bee B800 set on 1/4 power with large softbox (right of camera)
Window light for fill - left of camera
Bare wall for background (off white)
Small chair for child to sit in (not showing)
 
Camera settings:
Shutter speed: 160
Aperture: 5.6
 
Lighting settings:
Alien Bee B800 set to approx. 1/4 power (maybe slightly less)
Approx. 4 feet from subject at eye level
Large softbox
Window light for fill - left of camera
 
Props:
Crocheted hat from ebay - $10.00

Post-Processing using Photoshop
Kodak Digital Gem Airbrush for skin softening
Multiple Choice eye pop / teeth whitening action
Slight color saturation and contrast increase
 

Self-Critique:
1. These are showing up much darker here than the actual prints
2. I had her a little too close to the wall...produced a shadow (but I didn't mind it)
3. Her arm in #3 is a little strange - but I loved the expression too much to throw it out

The last image is a (horrible) photo of my simple setup. Just a plain wall for the background,
one light with softbox and window light for fill.
